HR Generalist Responsibilities:

  • Implement programs by providing human resources services, manage talent, drive culture, and align our organization

  • Includes: talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, AA/EEO compliance, labor relations and completing personnel transactions

  • Negotiate company benefits (health, life, dental, short and long term disability, vision, AD&D and others)

  • Improves manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying job performance; evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solution; coaching and counseling

  • Completes training programs by clarifying the training objective; set-up and implement; document and organizing information

  • Ability to work with government and local agencies to obtain grants and funding for training and hiring employees with need


    Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential

  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions

  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations

  • Maintain daily attendance and time off

  • Associates Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field

  • Three to five years progressive HR experience preferred

  • Thorough understanding of principles and practices of human resource administration, including relevant laws and regulations

  • Ability to work with various levels of the organization to develop and influence the culture

  • Highly effective communication and negotiation skills

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Exceptional customer services focus including attention to producing quality results
