TOX Pressotechnik is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team in Warrenville, IL. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience.


The CNC Machinist will have the opportunity to work independently and as part of a team to program, set-up and operate DMG/Haas/Mori Seiki 3, 4 and 5 axis machining centers and perform final quality inspection in a low volume/high mix environment.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings. understand symbols, notes and GD&T
  • Visualize and forward think the best machining practices necessary to complete part
  • Apply knowledge of metal properties in relation to machinability of materials (e.g., cutting speed and feed rates for material being machined)
  • Hold tolerances as tight as .0002 for various components
  • Troubleshoot issues and work with Engineering and Assembly colleagues to resolve problems
  • Perform part inspection using micrometers, calipers, height indicator, etc.
  • Successful candidate will have 5 years of experience in CNC operations with strong experience in the use of measuring equipment (+/- .0002" tolerances.)
  • Successful candidate will have HS diploma or equivalent.  Post high school education / training preferred.


First and Second shifts available: First Shift: 5:30am-2:00pm; Second Shift: 1:30pm-10pm
